The DOK “Library Concept Center” is a public library located in Delft, Netherlands (population 100,000). Delft is a city in the province of South Holland. It is known for its Dutch towne center-including canals. Delft's culture and history include many famous artists, trading companies, and even royalty. van der Pol, the arhitect chosen to design the new library, says of the project, "The idea was to create a building that would fit in with the historical architecture of Delft, while showing the ultramodern functions of the media library."
